PSAU University has made strenuous attempts to achieve the SDG13 targets through adopting policies, activities, the environment, and research. The university's efforts in giving and researching funds, organizing workshops and associated activities exhibitions for students, faculty members, and staff to encourage responsible consumption levels are aligned with the country's initiatives. The PSAU promotes the development and usage of renewable energy. The PSAU also committed to a solid intergradation of climate change measures on university campuses following national policies, strategies, and planning and the SDGs' international scope. In addition to that, the PSAU signed an agreement with the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture to plant 5 thousand trees in the vicinity of the university, to enhance the vegetation cover in Alkharj province.

PSAU policies for climate change

1. Providing advanced education courses on climate change challenges. 
2. Organising educational activities for the local community to raise awareness of the climate change risk.

PSAU Policies for reducing use of papers

1. Use double-sided paper to copy and print documents.
2. Do not throw away the paper. Recycle after using both sides.
3. Buy recycled, non-chlorinated paper for bleaching.
4. Get more out of your board and projector in your meetings.
5. Put baskets in your office to encourage recycling.
6. Read newspapers online, not on paper.
7. Do not accept ads in your mailbox.
8. Use digital formats instead of copies.
9. Use cloth bags instead of paper bags.
10. Check for errors in the document to prevent further printing.
11. Use eco-friendly fonts that contain less ink.
