4.2. Proportion of graduates with teaching qualification
PSAU is a comprehensive university, has over 26 thousand students distributed in 22 disciplines, including health, science & engineering, and humanities. PSAU is considered education as a human right and obligation. Education is a human right: it is the right of each human being on earth to have access to quality education. Therefore, PSAU invested heavily in providing a high level of graduates in the Educational fields. PSAU has three colleges of educations with a total of 8140 students from both genders. The annual number of graduates from educational colleges is 654 per year. While the intake is increasing, so the number of graduates is expected to rise. The University has three colleges of Education in Alkharj, Dilam, and Wadi Adawasir. The percentage of students in the educational colleges is 28% of the total number of PSAU students [Evidence No.1].

PSAU tracks applications, administers random readiness tests to track applications, tracks admission rates, monitors progress, and assesses graduation rates throughout the students' academic journey.
As of the 2024/2025 academic year, 53 percent of the students' population were female.



Interestingly, the university established new programmes in electrical engineering (in 2023) and nursing (in 2024) for female students.

PSAU also tracks graduation rates of students across all programmes and colleges.

Despite the progress in female students retention, PSAU will strengthen its academic advisor, mentoring, tutoring, and guidance and counselling systems to provide students (male and female) with all the support they need to succeed,
- Lifelong learning access policy
PSAU central library and other libraries in different university branches are contributing actively to the community-related activities and the service of Alkharj city society. PSAU libraries are providing many services the society members as well as the students and faculty. The PSAU libraries have more than 60 thousand titles of books and periodicals. The Deanship also plays a vital role by offering scientific courses, awareness seminars, educational seminars, and scientific exhibitions to raise the researcher and student's efficiency, increase the awareness of society and its culture, and enrich its holdings with everything new.
